The "Train for Trade" capacity building and training programme, will enable SMEs to make use of the opportunities of a continuously globalising market. The programme components are:

The globalisation of trade and economic processes proceeds, but for many of the poorer developing countries the liberalisation has not brought the desired improvements.  The challenges of increasing market liberalisation and globalized trade remain for many African countries and their private sector.

Within the scope of an ILT "Quality Management" the cooperation between the quality infrastructure (QI) and the private industry will be enforced to implement the  MNPQ-specifications/tasks (MNPQ= measure-norms-prove-assure quality) relevant for the implementation of the EPA.

Network Dialogue Alumni

Through regional and international dialogue and networking measures InWEnt and its partner institutions in the SADC region will contribute to the international Aid-for-Trade initiative to improve an "enabling environment" for the private sector. Furthermore, existing InWEnt alumni and professional network members will work together to pool their strengths and knowhow for the development of economy, trade and export in the region.
