The programme “EU Integration of South Eastern Europe” blends three components:

Bringing the central level administration in line with EU standards is a key to the progress & implementation of the accession process. This holds particularly true for the community law as well as the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA).

Huge disparities between urban centres & rural areas clearly exist in SEE. To foster sustainable regional development processes in rural areas and mobilise regional potential is one key challenge for rural regions.

Aligning vocational education with EU standards and demand orientated modular In-Plant Trainings (MIT) foster the approximation of the South Eastern European labour markets and the enterprises to the EU.
