Activities in 2009 will serve to prepare a new programme on Aid for Trade for 2010 onwards.

AfricAdvance integrates four programmes in the South African Development Community (SADC) and in Southern Africa. The objective is to support sustainable economic development by building export promotion capacities, raising the level of productivity in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, improving the quality of products and services and creating new logistic concepts in the South African region.

The Export Helpdesk (http://exporthelp.europa.eu) is a free online service, provided by the European Commission, to facilitate market access for developing countries to the European Union. It provides relevant information to exporters and includes a market place for products.
